About Otto & Spike
Otto & Spike is made in Melbourne at a family-run, ethically certified, solar-powered knitting mill, which has been operating in Brunswick for more than 50 years
Otto and Spike is a result of circumstance. Through the hard times, as many knitters around them were forced to close their doors, O&S accumulated an abundance of surplus yarn that would have otherwise contributed to our countries landfill.
So the Otto and Spike story began – with some careful planning they were able to integrate these yarns into their ranges.
Over the years the brand has grown, whilst they continue to collect and reuse leftover wools they also now have the luxury of adding additional Australian Merino, Lambswools and Australian Cotton to their collections .
